The Basic Skills Quality Mark (BSQM) programme combines a simple but proven methodology for undertaking rigorous self-review with the opportunity to achieve accreditation with a well-recognised national accreditation, the Quality Mark (QM).
The BSQM is highly inclusive and appropriate for use by educational establishments of any type or size across all phases, within a range of educational contexts and coming from both the maintained and independent sectors.
The programme can be used as a supportive improvement tool for those organisations wanting or needing to address issues of under- attainment and/or under-achievement in English (literacy) and Mathematics (numeracy) - the ‘basic’, ‘functional’ or ‘foundation’ skills, which are the bedrock for achieving success at school, college and in adult and working lives.
The BSQM can also be used by as an external validation of existing effective practice, progress and pupil performance.

Tribal’s IMPEX offer currently comprises a number of subject and sector-specific specialist frameworks.
This proven whole organisation approach to continuous improvement can secure fundamental changes in how organisations address the needs of their learners.
